I recently came across a video clip (courtesy @dean_gerber) that showcases the future of digital magazines. Its a project called Mag+, and is being run by the guys in the R&D Lab at Bonnier.

Its a fascinating look at how they have taken the fundamentals of reading a magazine (big pictures, flipping through pages, skimming etc) and tried to merge this with the internet enabled digital readers that are starting to arrive on the scene.
